Cold metalworking for sheet metal
Deep drawing
MP offers a deep drawing service through cold metalworking, allowing sheet metal to be shaped into cup, cylindrical, or box forms. This method provides numerous advantages, including high precision, fast production, and reduced production costs.
Bending
The MP machine park includes machinery for cold bending, a service that allows sheet metal to be bent into precise and angular shapes without compromising the material's properties.
Blanking
MP's in-house blanking service is ideal for producing semi-finished and finished products with precise edges. The sheet metal is placed between a die and a punch, penetrating and shaping the metal. This process ensures both precision and production efficiency.
Coining
Coining is among the range of cold metalworking processes offered by MP. This process utilizes advanced equipment to reshape sheet metal to achieve precise forms. It enables the creation of typical V shapes, knurls, housing seats, chamfers, and variations in thickness.
Tapping
The MP fleet includes advanced and updated machinery that enables tapping operations using a mould, which can be designed to custom specifications provided by the customer. This process is ideal for forming precise threads, even on small components.

Sheet metal mould design service
A strong partnership with specialised companies enables MP to offer a comprehensive service for the design and development of moulds for cold sheet metal processing, ensuring precision and reliability. A new construction technique, developed in collaboration with external designers, reduces machine setup times, while advanced technological systems minimise maintenance times and costs. As a result, these costs are not passed on to the customer until the guaranteed production quantity is achieved.
