Metal tapping

Threading by mould is achieved through rolling, using either a mechanical or electronic system mounted on the mould. This process works simultaneously with blanking and bending phases, producing a finished piece with each machine stroke.

MP works with various metals suitable for tapping, which naturally possess the ideal characteristics for the process: stainless steel, phosphor bronze, iron, aluminium, titanium, and brass.

MP uses customer-supplied moulds but also partners in the design and development of custom moulds ideal for metal tapping. In this case, special attention is given to the geometry of the piece, the type of material to be processed, and the applied pressure.

MP collaborates with a dense network of external partners to ensure efficient and high-quality mould production.
